Land acknowledgment.

I acknowledged the home where I live and practice my work – treaty 7 territory, the traditional territories and oral practices of the Blackfoot (Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai), the Tsuut’ina (Sarcee), the Stoney Nakoda First Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta. I practise land acknowledgement in the spirit of reconciliation and to acknowledge the people who were guardians of the land on which I live and which I am connected to.
